Albert Carlot who is in charge of VMS in WCPFC and Li Yan who is a Tune-Working-Team expert from China Ocean Fisheries Association came to our company to conduct guidance training about VMS operation on 26th March, 2018. Some main representatives from Zhejiang tuna fishery enterprises attended this training.
This training was for a comprehensive learning about VMS and solutions for unusual reporting situation of ships’ positions. It not only enhanced the understanding of regulatory policy about fishing vessels’ positions, but also improved the enterprises’ contractual and management capacity. In a word, it is helpful for tuna industry’s orderly development.
